The CPL Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that can accept charitable tax-exempt donations. Donations can be made in the form of cash, check, gifts of stock, or other financial assets.

Cranbury is fortunate. The Township funds the basics of our library. But the basics are just that: the minimum required to fund operating costs and to set aside a modest amount of money for smaller, immediate capital needs.
If we want a library that thrives (that expands programming, protects the building, invests in technology, and plans for the next 20 years) that requires private financial investment.
The Foundation exists so that the library is never just ‘maintained.’ It’s strengthened. Our goal this year is simple: move from fragile to stable. We need to build a responsible reserve. Create predictable annual support. And ensure that five, ten, fifteen years from now, this building is still vibrant and well cared for.
That future doesn’t happen automatically. It happens because people in this town
