The Foundation will serve as the philanthropic and capital-raising arm of the Cranbury Public Library.

Cranbury Public Library Foundation Vision

The Foundation:

  • will support the Cranbury Public Library by raising capital funds for a physical facility to adequately house its collections, services, and offer public space for community programs, cultural events, and civic organizations.
  • will operate as an IRS nonprofit 501(c)3 to accept and acknowledge funds to further library support and/or specific projects.
  • will pursue grants, corporate donations, and other funds to enhance the library.
will be a strong advocate for the Cranbury Public Library, informing the community, raising awareness, and garnering public support for its programs and services.
  • will work in close partnership with the Cranbury Public Library, the Friends of the Library, and the numerous educational, historical, cultural, and civic organizations in the community.

The Foundation is separate and distinct from the Friends of the Cranbury Public Library, which is a membership organization of persons interested in the Library. The Friends mission is to focus public attention on the Library; to stimulate use of the Library’s resources and services; and to cooperate with the Library in developing programming.

  1. Hi!
My husband and I donated $1000 in January. That should qualify us for a brick, right?

    1. Yes. Those that donated $1000 to the Walk of Knowledge earlier this year are eligible for a brick. You should have received an email with instructions on how to select your engraving. If you did not please contact Marilynn at the library.
